Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish and English roots. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to take her. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. Then she dropped out of high school at 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy always wished to be an actor.
