Kari Sam Wuhrer, born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was still a teenager. Her most well-known role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders and also the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She has three brothers and sisters. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her house in order to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actor.
